Student / School Awards

The Interior Academy of Hair Design won BC School of the Year for Esthetics as well as BC overall School of the Year for Hair, Esthetics and Nails at the 2006 CIABC convention held October 14, 15 & 16 in Vancouver.

Last year, we won British Columbia overall School of the Year for Hair, Esthetics and Nails at the 2005 CIABC Hair Show.

Every year the Allied Beauty association hosts a show and competition available to students and cosmetologists.  We encourage our students to step out there and compete.  Competition is a place to demonstrate your creativity and skills, meet some wonderful people and make new friends.

Interior Academy students very often place in their category at a competition.

Some of the pictures you see here are from the Make-Up competition hosted by the Cosmetology Industry Association of BC (CIABC) in the fall of 2002.  All of these competitors placed in their category.

This group of students and models shown above placed in their respective categories at the 2001 CIABC Hair Show in Kelowna.  We are proud to have been part of this winning team.

We encourage our students to use their own creative talents to create winning hair styles.
