The cosmetology industry is one of the most innovative and successful industries in the world. It takes dedication and professionalism for our industry to grow and continue to receive the recognition it deserves. There are many ongoing opportunities for growth and advancement in our ever changing profession.

Once you have mastered your technical skills and people skills, and have become a cosmetologist there are numerous opportunities for a rewarding career. As a cosmetologist a person has the ability to make people look great and feel good about themselves. This is a career that you can count on no matter where you are.

Whether your goal is to work as a cosmetologist for someone else, start your own cosmetology business or maybe even become an instructor, our cosmetology course will give you the knowledge and skills to plan and prepare you for a challenging and exciting career.

  2. Back to TopWhat do you offer at Interior Academy?

At Interior Academy we offer a level of dedication from our staff and instructors that contributes to the success of our students. We maintain a high level of professionalism and provide a structured environment for students to learn about cosmetology.

We are a training facility and have a steady flow of clients that make themselves available to our students. This is the most valued part of our program, for without our clients we would not have a training facility.

Our instructors are all qualified cosmetologists with a wealth of information and knowledge to share with our students.

Interior Academy takes pride in going beyond the basic program for cosmetology and provides additional seminars and workshops to all our students.

We provide a retail centre that is available to both our clients and students. As a Cosmetology student products are available at a reduced cost. Students are trained to educate their clients in the value of using professional products. Product Representatives present additional retail classes and market strategies on a regular basis.

  3. Back to TopWhat type of activities take place during the course?

Students will attend theory and practical classes before working on clients. For the remainder of the course all practical is on clients and/or fellow students.

There are hair shows presented by the Allied Beauty Association and the Cosmetology Association who bring highly trained cosmetologists and various products and their representatives together for two days of fun, education, inspiration and even competition. We encourage students to attend and even compete in the competitions made available. This is an additional cost, however for those students who want to compete Interior Academy assists in the payment of the entrance fee.
